IP cameras run over network cable and are often powered through it (PoE), which suits new sites and remote viewing. Analogue HD cameras use coaxial cable to a DVR and can reuse old wiring in an upgrade. Ask each installer which one they quote and why.
Outdoor cameras in Kuwait face strong summer heat and dust. Ask for each outdoor model’s rated operating temperature and ingress rating (for example IP66 or IP67), and how far its night vision reaches compared with the area it must cover.
The recorder admin password, the mobile app account and the cloud account (if any) should be created in your company’s name and handed over at the end. Otherwise you depend on the installer for every change, even after the contract ends.
